About this collection
Until now these pieces have only appeared as catalogue entries. They are worth more than a thumbnail and a price: each is a single carved object, worked on every face including the base, and each carries tool marks, pitting and colour variation that the close-up photographs show and that no written description replaces.
We have deliberately left the specification thin. What we can tell you is what you can see. What we cannot tell you yet, we would rather measure for you than estimate.

- Carved stone, described only as it appears in the photographs. No quarry, stone type or age is claimed, because none has been verified.
- Dimensions and weight
- Not listed. Ask us and we will measure the piece you are interested in and send the figures before you commit.
- Condition
- Sold exactly as photographed. Chips, wear and surface losses are part of the object and are visible in the gallery on each listing.
- Availability
- One of each. A piece sold is not reordered, because there is no second one to reorder.
- Shipping
- Freight is quoted separately and is not included in the price shown. Stone is heavy, crating is not free and the cost depends entirely on where it is going.

These are heavy objects and every one is shipped as freight in a crate built for it. Freight is quoted separately from the price of the piece — tell us the delivery address and we will come back with a figure.

Nothing has been restored, cleaned, painted or retouched. The galleries include hand-held shots so you can judge the size of a piece against a hand rather than against a number.
One buyer per piece
Every listing is a single object, so the first order takes it. If two people ask at once, we will tell the second one honestly rather than take an order we cannot fill.
